Our Story

From Humble Beginings to Becoming The Largest Developer In Central America

Recap started with a simple idea. To develop affordable, ecologically conscious communities in some of the most desirable regions in South and Central America. Over 10 years later with 1100 owners and 4 thriving developments, recap stands as a model of what responsible development should resemble.

Our story begins with Trujillo beach, where we transformed a dense green landscape adjacent to the beach into a quaint well-established private beachfront community.

Working exclusively with local community members, we developed strong relationships that allowed us to grow while also giving back. During our time in Honduras, we have participated in numerous charitable engagements. Recap saw the need to give back, and did so in the form of monetary donations to local schools, purchasing school supplies and providing business education opportunities.

Following in line with our eco-conscious attitude, Recap set its eyes on the beautiful and diverse landscapes of Costa Rica with the idea of building a resort style community offering custom built homes and villas. Since its inception, the value of our homes has more than doubled, and naturally with development also comes diversification. We have since expanded our services to include rental management as a means of providing a steady income for our owners.

Where are we today?

After conducting market research, and surveying our clientele, a burgeoning demand in Panama beachfront property became apparent, and so did our next site for expansion. Our Punta-Chame Eco resort stands as the true embodiment of recaps character: environmentally conscious, value driven, and unique. With our proven record of environmental responsibility, we are the only large scale development permitted to build directly on the beach, guaranteeing your private beachfront ownership.

With move-in dates projected for mid to late 2019, we are excited to see what the future holds.
